About The Role:

As an Account Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to successfully run production and present creative proposals with ever-changing client requests. Once trained, you will be assigned to accounts where you can focus your efforts and energy. Using a wide array of tools and resources, your day will be spent creating and following up on orders, problem solving, sourcing and gathering information from suppliers, executing proposals, and crafting thoughtful emails to clients.

Your focus is to be an industry expert in production, sourcing, pricing, and creative direction while embodying our values and building and growing solid relationships with Monarch’s vendors and clients.

Key Role Objectives:

  • Ideate & present impactful branded merchandise proposals using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Successfully deliver the Monarch standard of customer service to 15-25 clients
  • Creating and managing 50-75 purchase orders per month delivering products on-time and accurate at a 97% success rate or better
  • Develops strong relationships with vendor partners in order to build and expand our competitive network
  • Keeps back-end administrative information current for clients and suppliers using CommonSku, our company CRM and project management software
  • Becomes an expert in presenting and executing our company store offering using Shopify and Trusted Herd
  • Attends design trainings and stays up to date on trends to effectively contribute your perspective for optimal results

About You:

You are someone who loves interacting and building relationships with people on the phone and over email. You are motivated by being able to strategically solve complex problems and are enthusiastic about learning. You have the ability to gather information and communicate your solutions in a simple and straightforward manner both verbal and written.

You have excellent attention to detail and high follow through that wins over the trust of team members and clients. You will spend more time on something upfront to ensure it’s done correctly; you have the endurance for this!

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of work experience with transferrable skills to the key objectives of this role, promotional product experience is a bonus!
  • A basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to make decisions with imperfect information and then reflect and adapt from the outcomes.
  • The ability to collaborate with giving and receiving feedback, participating in company discussions, and listening to all opinions in order to deliver the best result.
  • Proven track record of providing customer service in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to be adaptable and consistently perform in changing environments.

Director of Finance & Accounting

About The Role:

As the Director of Finance & Accounting, your primary responsibility is to successfully lead and run the financial arm of the company and provide administrative support to our CEO and merchandise team as it relates to finance, accounting, HR, and legal. With ever changing team, client, and vendor requests, this role has a high touch point to projects making deadlines and input of accurate information a key to its success. Your days will be spent in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales tax, insurance audits, financial reporting, and on-going strategic projects. Your focus is to ensure the financial function of Monarch is running smoothly and is successfully supporting employees to be at their best.

Key Role Objectives:

  • Provide strategic and financial guidance to reach company’s short term and long term goals
  • Provide financial analysis to aid in executive level decision making
  • Lead monthly financial meetings with the CEO
  • Uphold accounting best practices to ensure accurate and on-time financial reporting
  • Work within QuickBooks Online and CommonSku, our company CRM and project management system, to keep our accounting and financial information up-to-date
  • Project and manage cash flow with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform monthly and quarterly close outs
  • First point of contact for on-boarding new employees, contractors, vendors, and clients to our financial practices
  • Review and evaluate company licenses and certificates to ensure we are in compliance annually
  • Lead tax filings and payments
  • Create, prepare, and manage our corporate annual budget

Required Experience & Skills:

  • CPA designation.
  • 3+ years of tax advisory and consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in Quickbooks Online with a product based business, promotional product experience is a bonus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with sales tax for a multi-location organization.
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing new processes.
  • High level of attention to detail and follow through.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
